p.s. not sure if you had time to take any pictures in Indiana but our state bird is the cardinal and we have many pairs in our yard that are gorgeous!

  Thanks Bobbi, I didn’t have my camera with me for this trip. However in 2 weeks I’ll be in Florida seeking Roseate Spoonbills and Painted Buntings, if I’m lucky there will be new photos. And next time in Indiana… who knows!
